Many health insurance plans in Dubai cover acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, either fully or in part. At Yuan Qi Acupuncture Center, we want every patient to be able to use the cover they are entitled to, so we work with all insurance companies as long as acupuncture and related therapies are included in your policy. This page explains how coverage works, what we can do to help, and how to claim.

We reply within working hours. Your details are only used to contact you.
It often does, but coverage depends on your insurer and the specific terms of your plan. Some policies cover acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in full, others cover a set number of sessions or a percentage of the cost, and a few exclude it altogether. Because the details vary so much, the only way to know for certain is to check your own policy before your appointment.
We do not offer direct billing at the moment, which means payment is made at the clinic and you claim the cost back from your insurer. What we do is make that process as simple as possible — our administrative team prepares everything your insurer needs, so your claim is straightforward to submit. If you are unsure what you need, our reception team is happy to walk you through it.

We work with patients across all major insurance providers in Dubai and the UAE, as long as acupuncture and related therapies are covered under the plan. If you hold cover with any of the insurers below, we are happy to support your claim.

I visited for spinal treatment and I'm extremely satisfied. The massage and cupping really helped my back pain — the therapists are skilled, knowledgeable and gentle.

Depending on your insurer, you may need official receipts, a treatment summary or a medical report. Our reception team will prepare whatever your provider requires.
Call your insurance provider before your visit and ask whether acupuncture is covered, whether you can claim reimbursement, and whether any limits or exclusions apply.
Yes. We provide official receipts for all payments made at the clinic, along with any treatment summaries or reports your insurer asks for.
Possibly. We work with new providers regularly, so it is worth checking. Contact our reception team and we will let you know how we can help.
Some plans cover associated therapies such as cupping alongside acupuncture, and some do not. Confirm the specific therapies covered with your insurer before booking.
That is set by your insurance company, not the clinic. We make sure your paperwork is complete and correct so there are no delays on our side.
You pay at the clinic, then submit your claim to your insurer for reimbursement, as we do not currently offer direct billing.
